Midsummer Night Screen presents...
29th August - STAND BY ME

This Thursday sees us close our summer of screenings with STAND BY ME, the unforgettable coming of age drama recounting a boyhood journey as four friends set out to discover the body of a missing boy. Join us at sunset for this tale of self-discovery and innocence lost, the ultimate in 1980s nostalgia.

We encourage you to bring your own gourmet picnics to enjoy on the terrace before the film, but please do not bring alcohol!

Our bar will be stocking excellent wine from Borough Wines and beer from Kernel and Camden Town breweries.

See you there!

Advance tickets have sold out for this event but there will be a small allocation on the door.

8th August - MANHATTAN

Our next screening will be MANHATTAN, Woody Allen’s love letter to New York.

The quintessential Woody Allen movie, Manhattan is the perfect combination of bittersweet romance and wry, self-deprecating humour. Shot in 1979 and filmed in black and white, Manhattan captures the inner beauty of the city behind its grimy urban facade.

Bring a picnic to enjoy on the terrace before the film, although no alcohol is allowed!

Our own bar will be stocking excellent wine from Borough Wines and beers from Kernel and Camden Town breweries.

See you on the reservoir x

Midsummer Night Screen presents...
11th July - THREE COLOURS: BLUE

image

We’re kicking off our season with Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski’s THREE COLOURS: BLUE, the first in his classic THREE COLOURS trilogy. It’s the powerful and moving story of a woman who abandons her old life after the death of her husband and child. Suffused throughout with blue light and striking imagery, this cinematic masterpiece is a long time favourite of the MNS team. We can’t wait to screen this beautiful film with the still water of the reservoir reflecting back at us outside.

Themed food and drink will be available from 6.30pm at every event!

Advance tickets for this event have sold out but there will be a small allocation available on the door.
